Amazon.com Review 5.0 out of 5 stars It's a savior! By Mom of 3 (MA United States) November 23, 2008 This book is excellent. When I found out my daughter had Celiac Disease, I was so overwhelmed. Going into the grocery store made me feel like crying. It seems like everything has gluten in it and I was so afraid to make a mistake when reading the labels. When I got this book I was able to go through it and make a grocery list from it and it was such a relief. They are actual name brand items you can find at your local stores. I keep this with me at all times and I'm getting one for everyone who helps take care of my daughter. It is soooooo helpful! |
| Celiac.com Review 5.0 out of 5 stars by Sage Taylor-Bradley Sunday 09 March, 2008 I bought this guide a few months ago, and it's already dog eared and bent up from all the use I get out of it. Before I got it, I shopped the outside aisles of the grocery store, because I didn't trust anything I didn't make myself. Now, I am surprised to learn there are all sorts of things that are Gluten Free, that I can have. I just bought a store bought Classico brand spaghetti sauce because the book said they were safe. I keep it in my reusable grocery bags, and take it with me whenever I go grocery shopping. My shopping style has been completely changed by this book. |
